Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was a DIY man

ہمارے نبی اپنا ہر کام خود ہی کرتے تھے۔ جو کپڑے پھٹ جاتے، خود ہی سی لیتے تھے۔ ٹوٹے جوتے بھی مرمت کر لیتے تھے۔ اپنی بکریاں خود دوہتے تھے۔ اور اکثر دوسرے لوگوں کی بھی مدد کئے دیتے تھے۔ جیسے ہمسایئوں سے پوچھتے، اور انکا کوئی کام ہوتا تو کر دیتے۔ اگر کوئی مہمان آتا تو اس کی تواضع بھی خود ہی کرتے تھے۔ کوئی شک نہیں کہ وہ بہترین اخلاق کا نمونہ تھے۔

Our prophet would his every task himself. He would himself sew the clothes which were torn. He would also mend the broken shoes. He would his goats on his own. And often he would help other people as well. Like he would ask the neighbors and complete any task of them. If there came a guest, he would serve him himself. It is indubitable that he was a model of best morals.
